At Firefly Lighting Design and Repair, we treat every lamp and light fixture like a piece of art. Whether it’s an antique chandelier passed down through generations or a modern floor lamp that just needs a safe new cord, we bring over 10 years of experience, a love of craft, and artisan-level attention to every project. All work is done in-house at our Portland repair studio.

Please Note: We do not install or uninstall lighting fixtures and are not licensed electricians. All repairs are shop-based.

Chandelier or Complex Fixture Repair

We specialize in ornate and vintage multi-arm chandeliers, brass fixtures, and unusual antique lighting.

Each project is assessed individually based on condition, complexity, and parts availability.

Plug-to-Hardwire (or Reverse) Conversion

Includes standard cord/plug – pricing varies
Convert a plug-in light to be hardwired, or convert a hardwired fixture to plug into a standard outlet.

Please have fixtures installed/uninstalled by a licensed electrician.

Custom Lighting Design – Starting at $300

We create one-of-a-kind light fixtures using salvaged parts, vintage glass, and repurposed materials.

Perfect for:

• Homes, shops, studios, sacred spaces

• Mystical, boho, or vintage styles

What We Don’t Offer

• ❌ Installation or uninstallation (please contact a licensed electrician)

• ❌ UL listing (though UL-listed parts are used when available — third-party UL certs may be arranged for commercial use)
